Acetaminophen, aspirin, diazepam, ethanol, levodopa, lithium, tetracycline: Increased absorption of these drugs. Monitor child care-fully.
  Anticholinergics, opiates: May antagonize meto-clopramides effect on GI motility. Use together cautiously.
  Antihypertensives, CNS depressants: Increased CNS depression. Avoid concomitant use.
  Buryrophenone antipsychotics, phenothiazine: May potentiate extrapyramidal reactions. Avoid concomitant use.
  Cyclosporine: Increased absorption, possibly in-creasing its immunosuppressive and toxic effects. Monitor child closely.
  Digoxin: Decreased absorption of digoxin. Mon-itor child and serum digoxin levels closely; dosage adjustment may be necessary.
  MAO inhibitors: Metoclopramide releases cate- j cholamines in children with essential hypertension. Use with caution, if at all, in these children. |
